"So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life."

Crater PeakI hiked up Crater Peak, the highest point on Grand Mesa. It was tedious in a few places, but still a nice climb and the views were the best I have seen in a long time since smoke in the area was minimal.

atop the Mesa!Nice jaunt up Crater from just west of Goodenough Reservoir. Definitely some great views up here - worth the drive!

loopStarting from near Goodenough Res., I first made a direct approach at the peak following my GPS. Summited after bushwhacking through the ~30% snow cover and attaining the W ridge. Great views from the top. Followed the ridge back to my vehicle along a game trail and it was much easier than the route up. Note the access road to Goodenough Res. is a very rough 4wd road, one of the worst I've seen.
