Creta della Chianevate / Kellerspitzen

Creta della Chianevate / Kellerspitzen is one of the most magnificent summits of the Carnic Alps. Here is its north face, seen from Valentintoerl. Paul Grohmann, who climbed it first, considered this mountain as the highest in Carnic Alps. The nearby Monte Coglians / Hohe Warte is a few meters higher, but Creta della Chianevate / Kellerspitzen was much harder for him to climb. He was not successful on his first attempt, and also when he reached the summit (with J. Moser and P. Salcher), he did not choose the easiest route. Picture taken on August 4th, 2015.
