I like the style of your writing and the page itself. It almost makes one forget the challenges of Skye weather and just go and do it. Great job, Thank you for posting.
Peter. In a word, yes. The midges will be bad by mid June, though less so than July and August. Don't let that put you off! Just come prepared. The Cairngorms do tend to be a lot less midgey, especially up high in a dry spell, though still far from midge free in the summer.
