Tell me the truth! Wouldn't you rather dance on a volcano? Squaw Peak, an ancient volcano making up the "geographic center" of Arizona, rises 3,500 feet above the Verde River. During a previous eruption, a fiery mass of molten lava from the volcano temporarily blocked the Verde River, forming a lake 20 miles long and 13 miles wide.
