Dead Forest on Little Śnieżnik

Kind of lower krumholtz, or kampf zone (around 1300m, few bushes of Pinus Mugo nearby) - in the 1970/80s it was too hard for the old trees to keep on living: acid rain + insects.

Taken early in the morning, late August, 2009.
