Dead Indian Peak-- Summit View

West to the snowy masses of Sunlight Peak and Stinkingwater Peak. "The Stinking Water" was a name John Colter gave to what is now called the Shoshone River; it refers to sulphurous gases emitted by the hot springs by the river. Eventually, Wyoming officials opted for a nicer-sounding name. I am not positive, but I think the peak in the middle, the one with the big cliff face, is Jaggar Peak. Absaroka Range, WY-- August 2011
