What a trip. What a great report. What super photos. Just as I finished reading it the BBC Radio 2 programme here in the UK started to play "Anchorage" by Michelle Shocked. The BBC must love the report as well then!
Thank you to everyone that read and made comments about the trip report. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Writing it brought back a lot of good memories (the ones we keep) and some bad ones (those we try to forget). I thank my friends John and Byron for all the work they did. It was quite an adventure and it is that same sense of adventure that I hope to pass on to other climbers and hope you all do as well. Keep climbing and be safe out there.
I did this climb just a month or so after you did, and reading your account brought back the unforgetable memories of my climb. Thanks for posting and incredible photos
Great report! Btw, you are talking about John? That's not John Christian by any chance (can't really tell from the pic)? Went to his seven summits presentation the other day at REI...

Great Read
Hey MGBC, thanks and I'm glad you enjoyed it. Sue has decided she would like to attempt this route next May so hopefully we'll have another report to post.
Thanks for reading my TR. Your's was very interesting. Looks like we were stuck at Camp 11 when you were on your first summit attempt during the storm! We must have crossed paths when we moved up to camp 14 and you descended to camp 11 on May 24th. Good on you for making that second push to the summit.
