Descending off Golden Horn on Aug. 16, 2003. Tower Mountain at left; Snowy Lakes below. You can see how close the lakes are to the peak, making them a good camping location. You can also camp in a large flat area just off the PCT about 600 vertical feet below the lakes (near the creek draining the lakes).
