Good angleThe couloirs look steep from here. With the low snow level, you may run into rocks near the bottom!

Re: Good angleThanks! That little Pockets Peak really is centered up there for some great views all around. That snow level really is low! When looking at the mountain a couple days before heading up there I'd contemplated going up one of the couloirs, then decided to stick with the normal route up. With the day's high temps it seemed a good decision afterward, after slogging a bit through soft wet snow down Deseret's north side towards the Willow Summits.
Thinking about skiing those couloirs this next winter though.
