yesterday, and I love this one.
I see you were using one of those "swamie belts" and legloops, long before the invention of climbing harnesses. I may start digging through my old B&W shots.

Yes indeed, the "good ole days of gear". Wooden ice axes, no helmets, gold line rope,
diaper slings / swamie belts and Eddie Bauer down products. I had a chance to spend five days with Ira Spring back in '69. For pics of old stuff, check out my trip report HERE
