It is always a dilemma for me - what to do with Duchess. I feel so guilty to tie her up, but could not leave her free. She would keep trying to climb and hurt herself.

mean old mom...I had to stake BJ down with my alpine axe once because the snow got too deep for him to keep going on a scramble..then I had to cut the snow balls out of his fur on the way down....Stacy was not impressed with the haircut!
