Down the Homestretch
The homestretch was kinda tricky here with the ice. A little bit after I took this picture, a marmot stole my brother's glove. I don't even know how he got it, but he ran away with it, taking it underneath some rocks. I have no idea why a marmot would want a glove.

I have an idea why a marmot wanted a glove. To have a sleeping bag! :-) Cheers Tomas.

I have had a Marmot steal my Patagonia long-johns before in the Holy Cross Wilderness. I have also battled them in defending camp in the Gore Range. Marmots like sodium, and a glove, long johns, or a trekking pole handle are covered with salty sweat, they love it!
