Downclimbing the Lower Chimney

2010-07-17 - A steep but solid class 3 chimney on Robinson's West Ridge. Note the pointy gendarmes above. These are good markers for determining when to climb up as the catwalks cliff out. The second steeper, harder, and looser chimney can be seen above to the right, ending between the gendarmes. Vitaliy is climbing the lower chimney marked in the route diagram.
