Dr. Needlepoint

This is the Dr. Needlepoint crag, viewed from about the top of the Greek Wall on the Maryland side of Great Falls. Use this view to know when you are atop the crag and then look for a Class 4 descent a short way upstream.

The shadowed corner is Needlepoint Corner, where there are several nice routes. The shadows outlining the pointed rock to the corner's right follow the Needlepoint Descent route, a 5.0 way to access the base of the crag.
