Mallard Ducks (Anas platyrhynchos) are the most common wild ducks in the Low Beskid.
The male has a gray body and chestnut-brown breast. His head is green, neck ring is white and bill is yellow-green.
The female is light brown with mostly white tail and a brown-saddled orange bill. Both have a distinct blue patch edged with white on the inner flight feathers.
