Nice mountain. I guess not that many people climb it because it's located right next to Hyndman Peak.
I was in Idaho over Labor Day weekend. I planned on doing a backpacking trip through the Sawtooth Mountains. I was only able to hike part of it because Baron Lake was closed due to a forest fire. I drove south from Stanley and could barely see the mountains because it was so smoky. Wildhorse Canyon and I think 4th of July Lake also had fires. They will probably be burning until it snows.

Untitled CommentThanks for the vote MG. I would actually bet that many people climb Duncans Ridge or a point along it, but very few ever reach the true summit.
Its too bad you got turned around near Baron Lake, I didnt hear about that fire.
The fire in Wildhorse is out now but the Valley Road in the White Clouds will burn until winter.
