Dyer Mountain from Iowa Gulch....

Dyer Mountain is a "high 13er", meaning it is one of the 100 highest peaks in Colorado. Near Fairplay, it lies in the vicinity of more well-known peaks: the 14ers, Sherman, Democrat, Lincoln and Bross. Three of us decided to tackle this centennial from Iowa Gulch, meaning short and steep hike.

Summit Elevation: 13855 feet / 4223 meters
Rank in CO: 81 of 637
13er Rank in Range: 4 of 14
