Eagle Cliffs above Omak Lake
There are some outstanding rock outcrops and cliffs around this end of Omak Lake. This one caught my eye on the final drive to the lake. It's called Eagle Cliffs. There is rock climbing on this outstanding feature. The cliff is briefly mentioned in this NWMJ article (see paragraph 6).


Note the white band of rock at the lakeshore. Evidently, the lake used to be higher than it is now (or is currently). April 19, 2008.
