The Berchtesgaden face of the Watzmann

These are three photos taken in early April of the north side of the Watzmann, Germany's second highest mountain, all from the same place, during the early morning as the light changed. In view, from left to right: The Kleiner Watzmann, 2307m, the Watzmann "children", average 2100m (the Kleiner Watzmann is often referred to as the "Watzmannfrau", the "Watzmann's wife"), and the Grosser Watzmann, 2713m.

Re: Great Three Pictures

Thanks a lot, Jim - that moment I had early on that day in Berchtesgaden was one not to be missed!
Cheers,
Eric

Parents

Parents refers to a larger category under which an object falls. For example, theAconcagua mountain page has the 'Aconcagua Group' and the 'Seven Summits' asparents and is a parent itself to many routes, photos, and Trip Reports.
