| Did this hike twice with my son. The first time there was quite a bit of ice before the saddle which made for an interesting outing. | |

| A very enjoyable hike with great views at San Gabriel Front Range. Last mile up to Strawberry Peak much more streneous than the beginning but very fun. I remember having had near misses with those prickly yuccas. | |

| Have done this route on other occassions, but this time I had my family come with me as a Father's Day present. Every time I do this route, I'm convinced that the ridge from Lawlor Saddle to the summit of Strawberry is well more than a mile. But the sign says 1 mile. | |
