Route Description

Start out at the trailhead. You could stay on the main trail, which parallels the ridgeline and keeps you away from the crags & Pinnacles. Or you can choose to start out, and stay on the ridgeline. It's a bit more challenging than the trail. By staying on the actual ridgeline you’re able to closely explore the craggy rock formations (my personal favorite). The rock is loose and broken so be careful when climbing and try not to disturb the vegetation (“don’t be a meadow stomper”)

This short, but steep scramble is about .6 of a mile and about 700’ of elevation gain.

Essential Gear

Good sturdy boots, camara, and a cold one...

Parents refers to a larger category under which an object falls. For example, theAconcagua mountain page has the 'Aconcagua Group' and the 'Seven Summits' asparents and is a parent itself to many routes, photos, and Trip Reports.
