Seriously ...Kathy, one of the things I learned when I was
new to this site is to click on the Reply prompt when you are replying to
another's members comment, so it is recorded
on the other person's response column.
Looks like you did a lot of travelin' in 1984. Were "prayer flags" attached to these lines? Excellent shot of the glacier!!!

Re: Seriously ...Thanks! I usually do that! I did travel through Germany, Switzerland and Austria that summer and had an especially wonderful time riding the train up to the Eiger. I'm a big fan of the movie, The Eiger Sanction, so seeing the actual places used in the filming was quite exciting. The remnants on the line were probably good ole caution markers not prayer flags but some of those skiers could have used our prayers!
And thanks for the compliments on the pics. I was using an old Instamatic camera at the time. Kathy
