| We came from Sulden and did the traverse Madritschspitze, Eisseespitze and Butzenspitze to Rifugio Casati. A very nice traverse!! | |

| We came from Rifugio Pizzini-Frattola and descended to the Schaubachhütte. Originally, we had not planned this: we had wanted to go over the Suldenspitze to the Hintergrathütte and climb the Ortler tomorrow. However, the weather was marginal, and the forecast poor, so we changed plans. From Rif. Cassati to the summit we were in clouds. Navigation was a bit tricky. Shortly after starting our descent from the summit, the clouds opened up a bit. I remember the top part of that descent as a nice bit of scrambling. | |
