This little beauty was stinking up the mountain! I was wondering why it stunk on Third Burroughs Mountain, so I stuck my olfactory organ close to this plant ..... whew!!!! Not pleasant to smell, but quite beautiful to see! Sunrise, Rainier National Park. 7/24/08

You must have a

very sensitive olfactory organ! I can't smell
anything!! I'm still waiting for a young
person on SP to invent SMELL-A-VISION. :- )

I'm quite afraid of what SMELL-A-VISION would bring, considering how ripe some of us get in the mountains!
