Climbed the mountain after hiking all the Retterschwang Valley from Hindelang. Failed to find the summit and ended high upon the overhanging south ridge several hundred meters from the summit. Nerves didn't hold and we descended rather than traversing to the summit.
I just found this entry on SP. I climbed Entschenkopf about 15 years ago from Falkenjoch at a time when I still lived in Germany. Far more exposed ascent than neighboring Rubihorn, but great views and fewer people.

Great memoriesI just found this entry on SP. I climbed Entschenkopf about 15 years ago from Falkenjoch at a time when I still lived in Germany. Far more exposed ascent than neighboring Rubihorn, but great views and fewer people.
