Evening view of Hamlin Peak...

Evening view of Hamlin Peak looking from the North Basin southward. August 1979. The peak had been in the clouds all day and was just emerging. All rock climbing done on Hamlin Peak is done from this direction. The access is by climbing Hamlin Ridge from the left and scrambling or roping down near the top. I am not so sure about the larger cliff to the lower right. The slope is a bit more than 1400 feet.
