Everest and Nupste at sunset....
Everest and Nupste at sunset. I remember extremely numb fingers and weighing down the tripod with everything I had. I also remember a very patient sherpa named Pasang who waited for me to finish to guide me down in the dark to our tents. Photo taken from Kala Pataar in Feb 1986. Kodachrome 25. Pentax Spotmatic F. Too long ago I can't remember. I took many so perhaps from a second to 1/8. 1/15 , 1/30 to 1/60 of a second I guess with the lens closed down completely.

The slide is sharper but its a bad scan. Cheers William
