Everest-Lhotse massif from the NE
Left: Lhotse (8516m)
From left to right on the summit ridge, the three summits of Lhotse: Lhotse Shar (8382m), Lhotse Middle / Central (8410m) and Lhotse main (8516m). To my knowledge, the wild NNE face visible in the picture is unclimbed.
Right: Everest / Chomolungma (8848m)
To the left (in the sunshine) Everest Kangshung (East) face and to the right (in the shade) Everest North Face, with the NE ridge oriented straight towards the point where the picture was taken.
