Midway Geyser Basin - Yellowstone NP It's especially appropriate that the NPS chose light blue for the thermal feature signs at Yellowstone NP since several of the most interesting hot springs such as Grand Prismatic Spring, Excelsior Geyser and Turquoise Pool are colored a radiant blue shade not often seen in nature other than in flowers.
