Overview

We climbed from Pradera de Ordesa across Clavijas de Cotatuero descending across Carriata with the climb of Tozal del Mallo (2,254m). The routes was very nice but the climb of clavijas (iron stakes) is only for mountaineers. The hikers can climb across the path of Carriata (exposed "fajeta" without stakes).

Note: the faja de las Flores is one of the most beautiful places in Ordesa's valley but the route is dangerous with snow of rain because the path is narrow with a deadly fall. In a sunny day is a very nice walk-up without danger if you climb across Carriata. For the route of Cotatuero can be useful for beginers the use of two strings with carabineers like via ferrata.
