Fall Trail Run

Decided to go for a trail run Saturday. Laid out my timeline for the wife and headed to the Noisy Creek trailhead. Loaded up my daypack and started up. 7 miles to the top didn't sound too bad until i got into it. The trail is in great condition, the weather was mercifully cool. the climbing never stopped, 3 hours to the top, The last mile my quads cramped up but i powered through. Finished up the last of my water and some munchies on the top. The view was incredible. headed down after about 10 min. took 2 hours to get down. The run turned into a fast walk for the most part. guess i need to train more. overall i enjoyed working in the pain cave for several hours and the views were awesome.
