Farnsworth Peak Accss Route

Farnsworth Peak Accss Route

Here are 2 easy looking routes I noticed doing some recon for Kessler and Fanrsworth. Both cut across a small section of private land but you could go around if you wished. Kessler would be legal at the summit but Farnsworth is private the last few hundred feet. Again, go in winter/sping, you'll be alone up there. From the parking spot at the sharp road curve, walk the RR line south or start traversing up the hillside below the shoreline bench scar. (Blue lines are aprox. location of the private roads from the east).

Explain.....

Glad to see that someone is doing their own research on the Oquirrhs. I would love to add Kessler Peak to the climbable list so please explain " both involve cutting across a small section of private land" to me. Keep up the great work and I hope to see some pictures of this range from you soon. Happy Trails out there.

Will do...

I'll post once I do this route. The only unavoidable portion of private land would be about a one minute hike above the parking area, then you are on BLM. The other section of private land crossed could be avoided by a longer trek south along the base of the mountain, then shoot up a ridge beyond the private property line.
