Feather Falls is the monarch of northern California's waterfalls. 640 feet high, it is one of the tallest in the United States. Here is a view looking down from the top of the falls.

Thanks! Feather Falls is a local favorite but not too many people outside the Chico area are familiar with it. It is one of the few falls in California outside of Yosemite that can compete with those in the park.
