Re: interesting !Hi Visentin! Of course it's in Spisska Magura, otherwise I wouldn't have attached it to that topic! :-)
I'm sure you were nearby the place, too. Filipsky vrh is 800 m north of Zdiar/Zár. I took the photo looking to south, standing on the southern slope of Magurka. The dark gery-blue background is the Belianske Tatry
cheers, Szani

Re: see this !Nice tour! Was the road dry, or did you have muddy places? The ridge of Spisska Magura is often (if not always) muddy at its deeper points.

Re: see this !Yes, it was quite wet as I did this loop after several rainy days so I can say it was muddy ! (despite ridges tend to be less than in valleys). But the worse were the lot of fallen trees over the way, especially under Repisko. Where is Filipsky by the way ?

Re: see this !So Filipsky vrh is 1.6 km south to the peak Magurka, and 0.8 km north to Zdiar/Zár

Re: now a TRaccording to the map you rode by the Repisko peak. But were you on the top? Does Repisko have any peak with some view? Or just a forest-covered flat summit?

Re: now a TRthe trail doesn't go exactly on it but slightly on the East. But as far as I remember it is covered by forests, like most tops under 1400m in the whole Carpathians... What's more there is a lot of forestry work in the area due to the fallen trees in the storm of 2004... not really a pleasant place to ride by bike, but if the area is improved, this could be a very interesting trail.
