The lighting...

... on this picture is really great. Looks like a fun climb. Is there a steeper section to this climb? Just wondering why you are roped up...

good question

There was a nice section of ice coating the snow, if you lost footing you would start sliding pretty quick and it was steeper than the photo makes it out to be. The rope really helped as a precaution to keep you out of the crevasses that lurk beneath the snow accumulation zone.
