Another downclimb along the summit ridge. Picture was actually taken on the way down when he was climbing up this. He should have put away his poles although the telephoto make it look steeper than it is in reality.

That looks suicidal! Downclimbing loose Rockies choss with trekking poles attached to your wrists? My god!

Yes - Not a recommended practice. He should have put his poles away for that short section but the telephoto lens makes it look steeper than it really is. I should mention that he is used to climbing on things like Assiniboine and Robson and has probably close to 200 ascents not counting ice and rock routes so he is not some newbie I dragged along.
