Just one of the many...

wonders climbers find in strange places. The chimney gives the flowers the black background enhancing the colors.

Nature is generous! I think that the wet environment inside the chimney had helped the flower to grow well despite the darkness...

Aquilegia bernardii

This beautiful columbine is actually Aquilegia bernardii,which is endemic to Corsica.I am studying Aquilegia species and was pleased to find your photo.
