Re: Amazing pictureTaken during a recent visit to the Philippines,
thus the Asian connection. Thank you, Pete!
Actually, I was having an extremely hard time
focusing my camera in on bugs.
Summer's almost GONE in the Philippines.

Re: PowerfulPlease, no ... I'd rather you go OUTSIDE
and enjoy Nature for all it's worth.
That's what I did while in SE Asia!

The eye of the lensSince the invention of the lens, the world of insects has been revealed in amazing detail. Though there a lot of nasty little nippers out there.
Ones bed pillow soon becomes loaded with millions of dust mites, as does the matress. So renew them long before they wear out.
Land sakes, just think of 'em crawling around at night !!

Re: The eye of the lensRight on, Sir Mondo!
When I was in the Philippines, some of the
younger generation (out from school) were
running nimble fingers through one another's
hair, searching for lice and other creepy
crawlies. YUCK ...
Not to mention the "sea urchin" that stung
the bottom of my wife's cousin's right footsie.
Yep, them scorpions are looking mighty
gentle in comparison.
And, I'm not talkin' 'bout the Rock Band.

Re: pure pleasureThanks, Tomek! It was taken during my last
trip to SE Asia.
Now, I just gotta convince my boss I'm due for
another trip.
