The view from Font's Point in Anza Borrego Desert State Park, California is spectacular at any time, but the sunsets there can be especially amazing. Interestingly, this is looking east, away from the setting sun and towards the Salton Sea. The badlands below Font's Point are an accumulation of detritus from Colorado River overflows--primarily consisting of sediment from the Grand Canyon. This was imaged in December 2015.
