beautiful but sad

I am always amazed that Europeans allow their beautiful mountains to be insulted with such structures.

It (cable cabin) was built still in 1956 for the VII Olympic Winter Games.
I saw You - Americans - also had built some ski areas with structures like this in amazing Rocky Mountains :-))).

It's true that North Americans have also put such things on our mountains. But not nearly as much. See this discussion:
