nice views and nice road walk up from the gate
This was a long day of snowshoeing in the rain in deep snow.
Good winter walk from gate to some surprising views.
This peak is basically drivable... if on a weekday. A nice way to spend Independence Day morning when I should have been purchasing fireworks.
We hiked up Stimson even though the gate was unlocked, after which we drove up Frailey. Apparently the gate is unlocked on weekdays until 3:30pm.
Certainly not for everyone, but still a good way to put some miles on the bike.
