Also, we're looking forward to introducing you friend the Geologist to Herb and especially Eve Laeger - I think they will really hit it off. Let me know when you'll be in California - maybe we can get in some climbing together out here.

I climbed Devils TowerWith Big Wally in 1982.Glad you are a friend of his .Knowing Frank is a Bessing and a inspiration. I have recently got in contact with friends of yours Dave and Deb . I have tried to get them to come to Colorado next winter for Ice climbing you are welcome to , Also lived in the LA area in the sixties and early seventies went surfing at Torrance Cliffs and Manhatten Beach Some of my early start of adventures. Use to hitch hike with a surf board in hand to the beach from Carson Calif. could not do that now would get shot by the local gangs
