Fun Class 3 Slabs Below the Gooseneck Pinnacle
August 21st, 2006 - To the right is the Goosneck Glacier, impassable from a maze of huge crevasses. To my left are a series of fun and exposed class 3 slabs that lead around the impediment on wonderfully clean rock before the route traverses beneath the Gooseneck Pinnacle (left) and back onto the glacer.

"What I see in Nature is a magnificent structure that we can comprehend only very imperfectly, and that must fill a thinking person with a feeling of humility. This is a genuinely religious feeling that has nothing to do with mysticism."   --Albert Einstein
