Truly a FANTASTIC trip. The scenery was awesome and this was a really supportive group to be a part of. Even though I didn't get to the real summit, my experience was not diminished in the least. Sunday morning felt fantastic as the stiffness and soreness reminded me of the previous day's fun:-) The dogs had a great time too!
But it was difficult to catch up to you guys. This was my first mountain over 5,000' in over half a year. Great way to break back into it. Thanks for the support on the way down. I had a noticeable difference (positive) in my energy when I was hiking with the group as opposed to solo. A tad burnt but that's just a reminder that these climbs require a different level of strength and preparation than I'm used to.
