Gap Ridges

[ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Gap Ridges
The nearer ridge is the easier one, but both can be kept at Class 3. The farther ridge is a harder Class 3, though, and it would be very hard to find anything tougher on the nearer one (remember-- this is about the ridge, not the face). The closer ridge rises directly from the divide between the Gap Lakes.

This view is from along the trail to the divide, but both ridges are visible from the parking area at Lewis Lake.

Snowy Range, WY-- July 2007

"Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful people with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan "press on" has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race."   --Calvin Coolidge
