Gem Peak

Gem Peak is a large granite bulge approximately one quarter mile west of Gem Lake on Lumpy Ridge in RMNP. The best way to approach this peak is from the southeast, where if you look carefully you can find a few cairns leading up the granite slabs. If you are cautious about your route, it should not exceed class 2+. This album also includes pictures of Balanced Rock and the Rabbit Ears, to rock oddities on the north side of Lumpy Ridge that are often passed over.

Parents

Parents refers to a larger category under which an object falls. For example, theAconcagua mountain page has the 'Aconcagua Group' and the 'Seven Summits' asparents and is a parent itself to many routes, photos, and Trip Reports.
