| Epic winter ascent of SE ridge from Cottonwood Lake (winter closure). The snow on the ridge was very deep and unconsolidated. At one point we resorted to breaking out shovels to remove snow for upward progress! One team member proclaimed: "Just shoot me!". | |

| Climbed Gladstone Ridge with both of Jones' summits from Ptarmigan Lake, nice quick hike on a day when the weather was iffy but it held through the morning nicely! | |

| Very beautiful area. I had climbed the nearby Jones Mountain via Ptarmigan Lake Trail in autumn of 2009. Nice to see the area again, this time with the green colors of summer. | |
