Glen Canyon NRA from Canyonlands NP

On the western border of Canyonlands National Park, UT, is the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. As seen from the 4WD White Rim Road above Murphy Basin (foreground in the image) is Ekker Butte (6227'), Cleopatra's Chair (center of image on horizon, 6520'), and the Orange Cliffs. Not seen in the image, but leaving its mark in the ravine below Ekker Butte, is the Green River. Imaged in Apr 2010.
