Voted 10/10 | is even better !!!
p.s.
What about non-climbing connections through passes between Grbaja and Ropojana valleys ? Are there any ? and if there are, which is the most convenient one ?
Cheers from Dublin !

I can't give you a good answer.
Exist Ropojanska Vrata (Ropojan's Door) pass between South Karanfil and Forca (Maja Fortit) which connect Grbaja with Ropojana. But, i heard that the descent from this pass to Ropojana is exposed and use of rop is necessary. Maybe is possible to cross from Ropojana to Grbaja via pass between North Karanfil and Karanfili Ljuljasevica, but you should try to do that.

You know, that one evening in Ropojana after descending Maja Jezerce via Zastan, just a few minutes after sun has finally set and you could admire all those sharp ridges and spires above dark forests drawing incredible lines in colourful sky was probably the most memorable moment of that whole three week Balkan tour... believe me I just wanted to stay where I stood and gaze into the horizon forever. I never forget such impressions. Thank God for Prokletije !!! | | Posted Oct 22, 2010 6:09 pm |
