misty solitude  Sucess!

Good climb. Rained a lot. Left slc at 3:00 am thinking we would avoid thunderstorms but still got wet. Useful to know: we had a chev impala and had to stop just after first crossing and walk. 4x4 would have been optimal. encountering the second crossing requires a hard right off the main road. If you go straight the main road dies out after awhile and you will waste straights lot of time. After the crossing you go up the road a ways before you hit a round about thing with BLM signs indicating no motorized vehicles allowed. This is the start of the jeep trail referred to. The road seems like a jeep trail, but it is just the road prior to.

Day Trip  Sucess!

Even with a bout of altitude sickness, this hits the top of my list of peaks.
